A flat which became a hub for anti-social behaviour has been shut down for three months.
Police have secured a closure order from St Albans Magistrates Court which prevents anyone from visiting an address in Gemini Park, off Elstree Way, Borehamwood.
PC John Phelan, from the Hatfield community safety unit, said neighbours' quality of life has been "compromised" by ongoing anti-social behaviour and criminal activity.
No one can enter the flat until October 25 apart from Paradigm Housing Association and the emergency services. Anyone who breaches the court order could be arrested.
Hertsmere Chief Inspector Clare Smith said: "I am particularly pleased with this piece of work as it demonstrates effective local partnership working getting to the heart of what matters most and more importantly taking action. If you are experiencing ASB then tell us and work with us to get results."

PC Phelan added: "We hope this shows residents that we will listen and act. No-one should have to put up with this kind of behaviour where they live.
"If you have information about suspected drug activity and anti-social behaviour in your neighbourhood, please don’t hesitate to report it to us because we will take it seriously and we will do all we can to prevent it from adversely affecting the lives of decent, law-abiding people who live nearby."
