A tribunal will go ahead after a doctor is alleged to have breached patient confidentiality and conducted unauthorised abortions.

Dr Sarah Lotzof, from Chase Lodge Hospital in Barnet, is accused of not giving proper care to three patients between 2014 and 2016.

She is said to have first breached patient confidentiality in June 2015 by discussing a patient’s mental health with their father without permission.

Dr Lotzof is also accused in April 2016 of failing to inform the same patient’s GP of her involvement in their care.

A report by the Care Quality Commission in 2017 said that Chase Lodge Hospital did not have an effective process in place to communicate with NHS GP’s about the management of patients with long term conditions.

Two patients in November 2014 and September 2015 also under Dr Lotzof’s watch had undergone medical terminations.

But she is accused of being dishonest after telling a colleague that on more than one occasion that the Practice was registered with the Care Quality Commission to undertake terminations.

The tribunal will go ahead on August 12, 2019 at St James’s Buildings, 79 Oxford Street, Manchester.
