The founder of start-up homecare agency has praised her "wonderful" team of caregivers after bagging two awards this year.

Jenny Madghachian set up Right at Home Borehamwood and Watford in January 2018, following a career as a nurse and before helping to supply nurses to the NHS.

Ms Madghachian said: "I was so proud of the team I built and the service we provided. I knew I wanted to run a homecare business for my own one day."

Despite being a new agency, Right at Home has already won a top 20 care provider award out of 900 agencies in the east of England from homecare.co.uk.

One of its clients is Peter Seaman, a 58-year-old from Borehamwood who has multiple sclerosis.

He said: "It was by chance by former carer came across Jenn in Tesco. Jenny came round and I was really impressed. I've been with her since near the start and the team she has assembled is one that aren't just there to do the job - they really care. I was recently in hospital and the emergency care provided to me when I came home great and I believe it all comes from the top with Jenny."

Right at Home has also been awarded the WorkBuzz 5 star employer award - a survey for employees to answer truthfully about how satisfied they are in their job.

Ms Radghachian, who specialised in haematology oncology, and bone marrow transplants, and was a trained chemotherapy nurse, said: "Trust is so important when choosing a care provider and our wonderful team of CareGivers really enjoy building strong relationships with our clients giving them the time they deserve and helping them to do the things they enjoy.

"These awards are testimony to the dedication of our amazing team and I am very proud of the outstanding job they do each day."
