Emergency services have been called to the A1
A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after being involved in a collision on the A1.
The A1 has reopened after being shut southbound between Galley Lane and Rowley Lane near Borehamwood.
The biker, aged in his 40s, has been taken to hospital by ambulance.
Police were called at 3.40pm.
There were long delays on the A1 southbound from before the M25 to Galley Lane and queues in Galley Lane and Barnet Road through Arkley.
Traffic was also very slow northbound on the A1 between Stirling Corner and the crash scene - it remains slow northbound but all delays have cleared southbound.
