A 90-year-old woman was taken to hospital after being hit by a van.
Officers are still appealing for witnesses after a van crashed into a 90-year-old pedestrian in High Road, East Finchley on September 6 at around 12:15pm.
Officers attended alongside with colleagues from London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade.
The woman was taken to hospital, while her injuries are found to be serious, they have fortunately been assessed as not life-threatening.
The van driver, a 51-year-old man, stopped at the scene. He was arrested at around 6:15pm on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and taken to a north London police station. The man has been released under investigation.
