A female pedestrian has been left in a life-threatening condition after being involved in a traffic collision.
Police were called to the A406 eastbound junction with Walthamstow Avenue just prior to Chingford turn off at 8:53pm, on Friday, September 13.
At the scene a female pedestrian believed to be aged in her forties had been in a collision with a car.
She was been taken to the Royal London Hospital. Enquiries are ongoing to confirm her identity and inform her next of kin.
