An abandoned house has been destroyed following a fire that lasted for over three hours.
London Fire Brigade sent six fire engines and around 40 firefighters to the scene in Sanders Lane, Mill Hill, after being called to the blaze yesterday (October 19) at 1.44pm.
The ground and first floors of the end-of-terrace house were destroyed by the fire, with part of the roof also damaged.
The roofs of another two adjoining terraces were also damaged.
Smoke pouring from the house
One witness to the fire said: "The fire was really dramatic and there were people crying.
"There was so much smoke that we could not see anything."
There have been no reports of any injuries.
Fire crews from Hendon, Mill Hill, West Hampstead, Barnet and Hornsey fire stations were at the scene, with the fire under control by 5.26pm.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
