Good morning, here is your morning update for Tuesday.
Traffic
All lanes are closed on the M1 southbound junctions 9 - 8 (Slip End) following an earlier collision. Herts Police said the road will be closed until 8.45am.
The #M1 south J9-8 is expected to remain closed for around two hours whilst police deal with a collision. There are delays so please avoid the area if you can.

There is approximately 6 miles of congestion back to J10 Luton which is likely to add 1 hour onto usual journey times.
One lane closed on the M1 northbound between junctions J6 and J6A (Bricket Wood) due to an earlier accident. Expect delays of up to 20 minutes. Traffic is expected to return to normal by 8.30am.
An accident on the M11 means one lane is closed between junctions J6 and J7 (North Weald). It is expected to be cleared by 9.15am.
Delays on the A1081 westbound within M1 J10.

There is a good service on all London Underground and Overground lines.
Weather
Mild start to the day with temperatures between 5°C and 8°C. Expect it to be overcast all day, with temperatures reaching 11-12°C.
