A group of knitters teamed up to create five colourful blankets for a charity.
The 'Knitting Nancies' of Borehamwood Seniors Club created the blankets which have been donated to Knitting for Peace.
The blankets will then be given to refugees and families in need abroad and in the UK.
The Borehamwood Seniors Club is an activities and lunch club for the over 60s within the community of Borehamwood and the surrounding area.
The club runs on Mondays to Fridays from 10am to 3pm each day, at Fountain Court, Brook Road, Borehamwood.
People attending the Club can enjoy various activities such as arts and crafts, quizzes, bingo, gardening and more. They also receive a hot lunch.
