Remembrance Day will be marked across the country to honour veterans and their sacrifices.
The nation will hold a two-minute silence on Sunday (November 10) to commemorate soldiers who died in battle.
A service of remembrance will be held at Hendon war memorial on Sunday, November 10.
The parade will begin at 10.40am. Two minutes of silence will be observed at 11am.
Also in attendance will be councillors, ex-servicemen and women, Army Reserve personnel and cadets.
The mayor of Barnet Caroline Stock will lay a wreath at the foot of the memorial on behalf of the borough.
Cllr Stock said: “Once again Remembrance Sunday gives us all an opportunity to pause and take a moment of quiet reflection in memory of those who have lost their lives in conflict. They will never be forgotten.
“This weekend memorial services will be taking place across the borough to acknowledge their tremendous sacrifice made in two world wars, and in other more recent conflicts”
