Christmas came early as a village marked the festive season with a joyful and merry fair.
Organisers say the Chorleywood Christmas Festival was a great success, with families turning out for four hours of fun on Friday.
Thanks to some hard work and generosity from business and councillors, people were able to enjoy an ice-skating rink, while some reindeer entertained the children too.

The Beavers singing carols on stage
MC Carla Terry, schoolchildren, and some Beaver Scouts entertained crowds who joined in singing Christmas carols.
The event was set up by Theo Papadopolous and a team of volunteers after Chorleywood resident Jill Visser said she would be unable to organise a fair this year.
