Good morning.

It is just one more sleep until Christmas tomorrow – and it looks like the arrival of the festive season has made it very clear on the roads this morning.

There is nothing major to report this morning, with the M1, M25 and M11 free of traffic.

It is also quiet on most A-roads as well. Noticeably the A41, A414 and A406 are very quiet and free of traffic this morning.

But watch out for some traffic on the A40 Westbound – it is partially blocked due to emergency repairs at B456 (Medway Underpass). The left turn into Argyle Road is restricted due to essential emergency repairs by Affinity Water.

Other than that however for those needing to complete any urgent last minute Christmas shopping for the big day tomorrow – it looks like traffic is on your side this morning.

Tube

For Christmas Eve a special timetable has been implemented on the London Overground. A weekday timetable will run between Richmond, Clapham Junction and Stratford, between Highbury & Islington / Dalston Junction and New Cross, Clapham, Junction, Crystal Palace and West Croydon.

A special Saturday service operates runs on all other routes. Last trains at earlier times than normal on all routes, from around 9.30pm

There is also a reduced service on TFL rail from Paddington to Heathrow Terminal 4 / Slough.

Replacement buses will operate.

No GWR services between Paddington and Slough or Heathrow Express services between Paddington and Heathrow Airport will operate.

Good service on all other tube lines.
