Exciting news was revealed for Borehamwood in early December.
Sky announced it wanted to build a new 32-acre, state-of-the-art TV and film studio in the town.
The new studios, 'Sky Studios Elstree', would house 14 sound stages, bringing 2,000 jobs to the area.
It's all subject to planning permission but Hertsmere Borough Council has already been working closely with Sky and partners to identify the Rowley Lane site, which is land that has been identified for possible employment in the council's local plan.
Hertsmere stayed blue as Oliver Dowden retained his seat in the General Election. Mr Dowden, who has represented the constituency since 2015, increased his majority.
