Families in Borehamwood celebrated the festival of Chanukah with two menorah lightings.
Rabbi Chaim Hoch and his wife Leah, of Chabad of Elstree & Borehamwood, organised the two events in the town which in total were attended by more than 700 people.
A large menorah was lit at Tesco and there was the shape of a menorah made out of balloons at Borehamwood Shopping Park.
The event at the shopping park also involved a Chanukah Wonderland which sold out, and there were plenty of traditional doughnuts to go round too.
High profile town figures attended both nights, on the first night of Chanukah, and again on the seventh night on Saturday.

Rabbi Chaim is from the Jewish Life Centre, a community centre open to all faiths in Shenley Road. The centre opened earlier this year.
