THE injuries sustained by an eight-year-old girl who was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition after a fatal crash are no longer described as life-threatening.
As reported, mother Chloe Lloyd died in the collision after the Vauxhall Astra she was driving left the westbound carriageway of the A35 Upton Bypass and ended up in a ditch.
Her daughter Lexi was taken to Southampton General Hospital by air ambulance following the incident shortly before 9pm on Friday, January 3.
She had remained in a critical condition last week, however, Dorset Police has given an update on her wellbeing.
A force spokeswoman said: "Lexi’s condition is thought to be improving and is no longer described as life-threatening.
"She remains in a stable condition in hospital."
