Police officers are searching for a group of boys reportedly involved in a "disturbance" outside of a school.
Essex Police were called to Debden Park High School, in Willingale Road, Debden at about 3.20pm today.
Officers were responding to reports of a "disturbance" outside of the school.
One of the boys may be armed with a weapon, police say.
An Essex Police spokesperson said: "We received a call from Debden Park High School shortly after 3.20pm to report that a group of boys were causing a disturbance outside the establishment, and may be armed with a weapon.
"Officers remain on scene and are conducting a thorough search of the area."
