Homicide detectives investigating the fatal Seven Kings triple stabbing have charged a man with possession of a weapon.

Two men were arrested following the deaths of three men, aged 29, 30 and 38 years, in Seven Kings on Sunday, January 19.

At this stage, detectives are not seeking to make any further arrests for murder, Scotland Yard has said.

Police have yet to finalise formal identification of the victims, however several national media outlets have named the trio as Harinder Kumar, Narinder Singh and Baljit Singh.

One of the arrested men, Gurjeet Singh, 29, of South Park Crescent, Ilford, was charged on January 21 with possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.

He will appear in custody at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court later today (Wednesday, January 22).

The Met confirmed that Singh remains under investigation in connection with the murders, while the second arrested man remains in police custody.

Enquiries around the motive for this incident continue, however officers do not believe it to be gang related.
