A convicted acid attack killer who hurled sulphuric acid at an innocent nurse in High Wycombe has reportedly launched a “jihadist attack” on prison officers while behind bars.
Xeneral Imiuru, 20, allegedly lured officers to his cell at HMP Winchester last week before “lunging” at them with an improvised weapon, according to national reports.
Imiuru – also known as Webster – was jailed in 2018 for manslaughter after Marlow nurse Joanne Rand, 47, died weeks after he doused her face and body with high strength acid in Frogmoor, High Wycombe, on June 3, 2017.

Ms Rand died of multiple organ failure 11 days after the horrific attack, which happened just after she had been to visit her daughter’s grave.
Imiuru also splashed another innocent person with acid in an attack weeks before, on March 8, 2017, in West London.
According to The Times, Imiuru has started showing a “growing interest in extremism” and has tried to forge relationships with jihadist prisoners.

In the early hours of Thursday, February 13, he is said to have faked an attempt on his own life – luring three officers into his cell before he “lunged” towards them with a sharpened weapon he had strapped to his arm.
The Prison Service said that no one was injured in the terrifying attack and insisted the incident is not currently being investigated as terror-related.
A service spokesman said: "Police are investigating an incident at HMP Winchester on Feb 13. Violence against our hard-working staff will not be tolerated and those responsible will face tough punishment, including more time behind bars."

The spokesman added it would "not be appropriate" to comment further while a police investigation is ongoing.
Imiuru has no previous terror convictions but is believed to have been radicalised after converting to Islam in jail.
He is serving a 17-year sentence for killing Ms Rand, a mother of three and a dementia nurse.
He pleaded guilty to manslaughter after admitting splashing her “head to toe” in acid during a fight.
Imiuru admitted becoming involved in a tussle with another man in Frogmoor after travelling from London armed with the lethal substance.
Imiuru, who had himself been the victim of an acid attack, used the bottle to threaten the man, who knocked it from his hand and kicked the bottle at Rand, who felt a burning sensation all over her body.
She ran, screaming in pain to a nearby fast food restaurant in Frogmoor, High Wycombe, to douse herself in water after receiving chemical burns which later became infected.
