Police believe a man found injured in a road in Loughton may have been struck by a vehicle.

Essex Police are appealing for information after a man in his 40s was found injured in Colson Road at around 10pm on Tuesday, February 18.

Detectives believed he may have been involved in a collision with a vehicle.

A member of the public found the man, stopped, and drove him to hospital where he has received treatment for a broken pelvis, broken ribs, and bruising, police say.

Officers are working to establish how the man came to be injured and need anyone who saw what happened or has any CCTV or dash cam of the incident or the moments before it, to come forward.
