Another restaurant is serving up a menu that's sure to whet the appetite of any hungry diner in Watford town centre.

Cassio Lounge, a family-friendly and retro-inspired cafe-bar, is one of the latest additions to the food scene at the shopping centre, opening earlier this year.

Based in the High Street, Cassio Lounge, by cafe chain Lounges, has pledged to support community initiatives in Watford where possible, and has so far raised more than £1,100 for Peace Hospice Care.

Inside, customers will find eclectic artwork, vintage sofas, old-school benches, strikingly painted tables and statement lighting, as well as games, books, and colouring pencils.

Vicki Costello, centre director at intu Watford, said: "It’s great to see Cassio Lounge serving up such delicious food to the people of Watford – our shoppers are loving it! It’s brilliant that 25 new jobs have been created for local people, too, and we are delighted that Cassio Lounge’s approach to community is very much the same as ours.

"Working with partners to make a positive impact is what matters to us and we look forward to making a difference in the community together."
