A 38-year-old man from Sutton has generously stepped forward to deliver thousands of water bottles donated by Tyson Fury to the NHS.

Rick Webb, of Independent Access Inspections ltd, has kindly offered to collect the donations from water bottle company, Wow Hydrates in Loughton, Essex.

The kind-hearted hero has been delivering the bottles to hospitals across the UK, including St Helier, St Georges Tooting, Royal Surrey Guilford hospital and many more.

The decision to help comes after heavyweight world champion, Tyson Fury announced his donation of more than 20,000 water bottles to workers on the frontline.

Rick Webb and his friend, Dave Spooner, 39, of Towie Scaffolding, have been using their work vans to collect and distribute the vitamin water across the UK.

Speaking about his decision to help deliver bottles to the NHS Rick said: “We are currently delivering to hospitals across the southeast.

“I’m just a spoke in a wheel trying to get this fantastic product which has been donated generously out to the hard-working people who need and deserve it.”

Amongst helping deliver donations, Rick has started a fundraiser page to raise money to distribute across the NHS.

Rick said: “The funds that are donated to the NHS fund will be distributed by the NHS.

“I feel great pleasure being able to do something positive to help the hard-working people within the NHS.

“Especially St Helier Hospital which I hold close to my heart as both my children were born there, and I have many friends who work there also.”

Rick says they have also delivered to Romford, Southend and Chelmsford hospital and plan to deliver another 10,000 on Wednesday.

Donations reached £715 out of £1000 at the time of publishing.
