Tottenham’s newest sixth form has seen university applications climbing to a new high.

Three Year 13 students at Harris Academy Tottenham this year applied to and gained interviews at Cambridge University, while others have received offers for courses at Russell Group universities.

Emily Barker, Sixth Form Head, said: “We offer excellent personalised tuition based on a traditional curriculum, small class sizes and our full support as our students work towards building a successful and fulfilling future.

“We continue to grow and, as part of the Harris Federation, we have a range of partnerships with leading universities.”

Students have the opportunity to work with and hear from leading practitioners in the field they are interested in. Access is provided to excellent, quality resources – including state-of-the-art computer and sports facilities.

The sixth form, rated Outstanding by Ofsted in June 2017, also offers specialism in Performing Arts and Sciences.

Executive Principal Nick Soar said: “Our sixth form is based at the heart of Tottenham and forms a vital part of the exciting regeneration in the Tottenham Hale area. We are a hub for ambitious young people who want to make a difference to their local area and beyond.”
