Hospital records 48th death due to coronavirus
A man in his 80s has become the 48th person at Salisbury District Hospital to die after contracting Covid-19.
The hospital has confirmed that he passed away on April 30.
He had underlying health conditions.
This brings the total number of coronavirus-related deaths at the hospital to 48.
Across the country, a further 370 people were confirmed to have died from the virus, the latest government figures show.
In total, 20,853 people have fallen victim to the virus in hospitals in England.
