New data shows the trust which runs Princess Alexandra Hospital has reported no new coronavirus deaths for the third successive day.
The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust, which runs the Harlow hospital, has so far reported 199 Covid-19 related deaths.
The trust, which also runs St Margaret’s Hospital and Essex Hospital, last reported a coronavirus death on May 23.
Daily death counts are revised each day, with each case backdated to the actual date of death.
This means some of the deaths that were first recorded in the last 24 hours may actually have taken place days earlier.
NHS England guidance states: "Confirmation of Covid-19 diagnosis, death notification and reporting in central figures can take up to several days and the hospitals providing the data are under significant operational pressure."
The latest NHS England data published today revealed a further 116 people, who tested positive for coronavirus have died, bringing the total number of confirmed deaths in hospitals to 25,866.
Of the latest deaths, patients were aged between 50 and 100 years old.
One of the 116 patients (aged 71) had no known underlying health condition.
