Police broke up an illegal rave on an industrial estate on Bank Holiday Monday.

The "unauthorised gathering" happened on the Wessex Road industrial estate in Bourne End on May 25.

Police attended in a number of cars and a van at around 10.50pm and broke up the party.

Despite mass gatherings being banned under coronavirus lockdown rules, none of those at the rave were arrested.

Instead, they "voluntarily dispersed" on police advice, a Thames Valley Police spokesman said.

They added: "Some advice was passed regarding Covid-19 regulations, and the incident was resolved with no further action being taken."
