TWO young men are fighting for their lives after their car was flipped in a serious crash on a busy Bradford road.

West Yorkshire Police was called to a serious road traffic collision at the junction of Haworth Road and Chellow Grange Road, in Bradford, just after 8pm yesterday.

It involved three cars - a white Audi, a grey Mercedes and a red Toyota.

There were four males in the white Audi, who were trapped after the vehicle flipped onto its roof.

Two were 20-years-old and two were 19-years-old.

Isma Hussain, who lives on Chellow Grange Road, described the crash as "horrifying" and left her and others at the scene in tears.

She added that the car was catching fire and could have blown up at any time.

All four males sustained serious injuries and were taken to hospital.

Both of the 20-year-olds are currently in a critical condition.

Road closures were subsequently put in place and ran into this morning, but these have now been lifted.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information that could help their investigation into the crash.

CCTV enquiries are ongoing and anyone who saw the incident or the vehicles immediately prior to the collision, are asked to contact police on the non-emergency number 101, or by using the contact options on the West Yorkshire Police website.
