A third person has been charged with the murder of a 24-year-old man.

The Met Police says detectives investigating the death of Asante Campbell in Hendon have charged another teenager.

The Met says a 17-year-old attended a north London police station on Monday and he was arrested on suspicion of murder.

He was later charged and appeared at Willesden Magistrates' Court today.

Police have previously charged Hafid Abdi Mohammed Omar, 19, of Orange Hill Road, Edgware, and Kofi Abusah, 19, of no fixed address with murder.

They will both appear at the Old Bailey on July 3.

Asante Campbell died in hospital on the evening of February 29.

Police were called to Parson Street in Hendon just after 9pm to reports that a silver Volkswagen Polo had collided with a parked car.

The emergency services found Mr Campbell in the Polo suffering from stab wounds.

He was taken to hospital but died later that evening.
