A murder investigation has been launched after a man died from a stabbing.
Police were called to Lytton Avenue, Enfield, this morning (July 17) at around 4.45am to reports of four men fighting and a man being put into a vehicle.
A short while later at 5.01am, officers who were present at North Middlesex Hospital became aware of a man in his 30s who was brought in suffering a single stab wound.
Despite efforts by the doctors, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are working to identify and inform the victim’s next of kin. Formal identification awaits and a post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.
Three men have been arrested on suspicion of murder and they remain in custody.
Police did not provide any further details of the men.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the death continues.
