Fairview New Homes and One Housing want to build 14 blocks up to ten storeys high at the site of the former gasworks in Albert Road, more than doubling the number of homes that were approved for the site in 2017.
More than 940 objections have so far been submitted via Barnet Council’s planning portal, along with 25 letters of support.
The most recent changes to the scheme include extra tree planting and alterations to some footpaths.
