WITH all the uncertainty regarding what we can and cannot do during the coronavirus pandemic, we at the Rotary Club of Watford would like to let the community know that at the time of writing, we are still planning for our Christmas street and static collections.
We have applied in the usual way to the council for permits and once we have them, we will publish the routes for Santa’s sleigh on our Facebook page and in the Watford Observer, this will be at the end of October.
It’s been a very trying year for us, the virus meaning we have had to cancel most of our fundraising activity, so we are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to once again meet up with the Watford community at Christmas and raise the much needed funds that allow us to support our local charities and those in need in our area.
