A motorcyclist was taken to hospital in a critical condition after he was involved in a crash yesterday.
Police shut the A406 near Palmers Green for hours yesterday following a serious collision.
The London Ambulance Service were called to the eastbound carriageway at the junction with Powys Lane at 5.38am on Wednesday (September 9).
Paramedics had responded to reports of a collision between a car and a motorcycle.
The Met Police were also called to the scene.
The man riding the bike was taken to an east London hospital and police said last night he was in a critical condition. His family are aware.
The North Circular was closed eastbound into the early afternoon to allow investigation work to take place.
There were major traffic delays on the A406 and on surrounding roads in Wood Green, Southgate, Friern Barnet, and more, before the A406 was fully reopened just before 2pm.
