Hello, my name’s Smudge and this is my sister Mitzi. We’re 11-year-old sisters looking for our forever home together.

We came to the National Animal Welfare Trust in September when our owner was moving and unable to take us with them.

We’re shy girls who spend a lot of our time snuggling up and trying to hide in our cosy bed. My sister Mitzi is more nervous than I am but once we trust you, we do enjoy a gentle fuss.

We don’t play with toys but do love our treats, although we will often wait and retrieve them later once there’s no one around and we’re sure it’s safe.

Watford Observer:

We’re beautiful girls looking for a quiet, adult-only home or a family whose children are aged 14 and over. As we’re so timid, we’d like a home without any other pets.

We’ve been used to having access to the great outdoors so, once we’ve settled in, we’d like to be able to go into the garden to explore.

Watford Observer:

Coming from the NAWT, you’ve got the reassurance that we’ve been medically checked by a vet and treated if necessary; have been vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and neutered and also have four free weeks of Petplan insurance.

We’d make ideal companions if you’re looking for some company. If you’re a kind, patient person who can give us a loving home, email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2) to arrange a visit.
