Investigations are ongoing after a gun was shot through the letterbox of a home.
Police were called at around midnight on Monday (September 14) to reports of a gun being shot in Basing Way, Finchley.

The occupants inside the home were uninjured.
Detectives from Specialist Crime North are investigating. DC Lee Janes said: “This was a terrifying experience for the residents and it is simply pure luck that no one was injured. Whoever carried out this reckless act is clearly very dangerous and not afraid to use a deadly weapon.
"Enquiries are ongoing to try and ascertain why the victims may have been targeted in this way and every effort is being made to identify who is responsible.”
