Three organisations have received £1,000 as a campaign to support the 'superheroes' of the pandemic comes to a close.
Bushey-based Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care UK has visited hundreds of places over the last few months, including schools, hospitals, and supermarkets handing out care packages to key workers.
Now the Jain faith-based charity has concluded its 'Support Our Superheroes' campaign by donating £3,000.
West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust charity Raise, Watford and District Mencap Society, and Noah's Ark Children's Hospice in Chipping Barnet will each receive £1,000.
The money will help pay for volunteer projects and equipment for both staff and those the organisations help.

Simon Evans, support manager at Watford Mencap, said: "Our teams have worked tirelessly through the pandemic and thanks to them people living in our residential care homes and supported living projects have remained safe, active and happy.
