A motorist who was caught driving without the correct licence was found in possession of cannabis, police have said.
Hertfordshire Constabulary said officers pulled over a car in Grove Mill Lane, Watford, around 10pm on Wednesday, October 28.
Following a search of the car – a grey Mercedes - the driver was found to be in possession of cannabis, police said.
However, a drugs wipe on the driver showed them to be negative, the force added.
The driver was given a Community Resolution, which can be issued by police for low-level offences.
The Mercedes was also seized as it was a manual car – the driver was only licenced to drive automatic vehicles.
