Traffic using a number of roads in the Barnet area is set to be disrupted by temporary closures due to roadworks next month.

Notices from the London Borough of Barnet in this week’s edition of the Barnet Borough Times detail several different roads that are due to be affected by the works in March.

Vehicles will be unable to enter, exit or proceed on Hendon Way at its junction with the Vale from 9pm on Monday, with the order effective until 5am on March 31, to allow for speed camera installation and resurfacing works.

However, this will only apply at such times and extent as directed by road signs.

Vehicles will be prevented from turning left onto Westside from Great North Way for an expected three-day period from 8am on Thursday, March 4 to enable a water main valve to be repaired.

The following day Moxon Street, at its junction with High Street and Tapster Street, is set to close at 8am for four days while a new gas main is installed.

Water connection works mean a section of Bruce Grove is set to be closed to vehicles for two days from 8am on March 6.

Crane operation works mean part of Ranulf Road is scheduled to be temporarily closed from 8am on Monday, March 8 for a seven-day period.

Approach Road, between Tewkesbury Road and Margaret Road, and Margaret Road, between Approach Road and Clarence Close, is due be shut overnight from 10pm to 6am for ten days from Tuesday, March 9. This is to allow Network Rail to deliver and collect plant and machinery.
