Several streets across Barnet are set to be temporarily closed for roadworks, starting from tomorrow.

Notices from the London Borough of Barnet in this week’s edition of the Barnet Borough Times detail the closures that will begin with an anticipated three-day closure of Moxon Street at its junction with High Street from 8am on Friday.

The alternative route during this period will be via High Street, Park Road, Victors Way, Moxon Street and vice versa.

From 8am on Saturday, Barnet Road will be closed at its junction with Hazel Mead.

This closure is due to last one day and access for residents will be maintained.

The diversion will be via Barnet Road, Barnet Bypass (A1), Bignells Corner, St Albans Road, High Street, Wood Street and vice versa.

Wordsworth Walk Is set to be closed for five days from Monday, but this will only be in place from 8am to 5pm each day.

A three-day closure is due to come into effect at 8am on Tuesday in Lansdowne Road.

This will close the road from Nos. 5 to 13 and the diversion will be via Lansdowne Road, Nether Street, Grosvenor Road, Gordon Road, Lansdowne Road and vice versa.

Creswick Walk is set to be closed to vehicles for five days from June 14. However, the restrictions will only be in place from 8am to 5pm each day.

On the same day, the section road outside No. 24 Selborne Gardens is also set to shut for five days. Temporary waiting and loading restrictions will also be introduced in the area surrounding the closure from 8am to 5pm daily.

Motorists will be diverted via Watford Way, Greyhound Hill, Church End, The Burroughs, Watford and Colindeep Lane, and Colindeep Lane and Watford Way.
