Brent Cross Town, the 180-acre new town centre regeneration project, has announced the return of its Brent Cross Town Community Fund.
Now in its third year, this grant fund, which has increased to £35,000, is open to small charities and community organisations with new ideas or existing projects that boost wellbeing and celebrate the community.
Groups and initiatives based in and around West Hendon, Golders Green, and Childs Hill can apply for a £500 to £5,000 share of the £35,000 fund from June 15 until July 15, with funds expected to be awarded by early August.
Those eligible to apply for the grant include community groups, charities and local branches of national charities, schools and educational organisations, not-for-profit organisations, and social enterprises.
Community organisations will be able to apply for the Brent Cross Town Community Fund through Semble’s newly launched funding platform, Action Funder.

So far the fund has had a huge impact on communities in Golders Green, Childs Hill and West Hendon, with over £55k granted to local groups and projects. I look forward to seeing how the fund will support new initiatives that ensure our communities continue to thrive."

Brent Cross Town is the neighbourhood at the heart of the Brent Cross Cricklewood regeneration programme; the largest in Barnet.
The new neighbourhood will provide 6,700 homes, workspace for more than 25,000 people and shops and restaurants.
A new station called Brent Cross West is also being built on the Thameslink Line.
