Motorists may face disruption due to temporary street closures for roadworks in the Barnet area later this month.

Notices from the London Borough of Barnet in this week’s edition of the Barnet Borough Times detail the extent of the closures and any other measures that may be required while the works are carried out.

Sheaveshill Avenue NW9 is set to be closed at its junction with Court Way for three days from September 13 while a frame cover is replaced.

The alternative route for motorists will be via Colindeep Lane, Court Way and vice versa.

Also on September 13, a five-day closure in Hartland Drive HA8 is due to start to enable a water service pipe to be relaid.

The closure will be in place between Nos. 14 and 21 and drivers will be diverted via Hartlands Drive, Wolmer Gardens, Broadfields Avenue and vice versa.

Lynford Gardens HA8 is set to be closed at its junction with Broadfields Avenue for one day on September 15 to allow a sewer cover to be replaced.

The alternative route for this closure will be via Broadfields Avenue, Broadhurst Avenue, Windsor Avenue, Lynford Gardens and vice versa.
