A not-for-profit Kosher supermarket is moving into a new temporary store.

Kosher Outlet, which is leaving its site in Pentavia Village, Edgware, will now temporarily be based in the car park on Tilling Road in Brent Cross.

It comes as part of the Brent Cross Town project, a new 180-acre town centre regeneration being developed by Argent Related in partnership with Barnet.

A not-for-profit organisation, Kosher Outlet supplies a wide variety of goods – including groceries, toiletries, household and baby products, meat and poultry.

Supporting Kosher Outlet in relocating to Brent Cross Town enables the supermarket to keep providing a local amenity to over 1,800 families in the area.

Marc Lerner, from Kosher Outlet, said: “We are looking forward to opening our temporary new store in Brent Cross Town and are delighted to have had the support from Argent Related so we can continue to provide an essential service for our community.

“This part of North London is about to undergo a great transformation, and we are excited to be part of the development as it evolves.”

Nick Searl, partner of Argent Related, said: “From the inception of Brent Cross Town we committed to support organisations and initiatives that reflect the ambitions of the new town centre to be an inclusive, people-first place in which all communities can flourish.

“Kosher Outlet is a valued member of North London’s Jewish community and we are pleased to have helped them find a suitable new home so they can continue to serve their customers in the local area.”

Cllr Daniel Thomas, Leader of Barnet Council, said: “This is another positive addition to Brent Cross Town, which will be welcomed by our current residents as much as it will be by people moving to our new park town. The Brent Cross Cricklewood regeneration programme has always sought to bring a wide range of benefits to our communities. I hope that Kosher Outlet will thrive at their new home.”
