A woman has been taken to hospital after a ground floor house fire in Edgware this morning (Tuesday).
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called at 11.03am to the blaze in Scott Road where an end of terrace house was alight.
One woman left the building before the crews arrived and was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service paramedics.
She was reported to have been suffering from smoke inhalation.

A London Fire Brigade spokesperson said the fire was under control by 11.52pm after crews from Stanmore, Mill Hill and Wembley stations attended.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, they added.
