As another weekend approaches, many of us will be wondering how to spend some precious time off. Will it be sunny, and a weekend spent outdoors or will rain keep us inside?

So, what does the Met Office predict for Cumbria this weekend?

Saturday is looking warm and dry, with only a small chance of rain in the late afternoon. Temperatures and predicted to be as high as 20 degrees, with lows of 13.

Sunday is looking much the same, but with a slightly higher chance of rain. Wet periods are predicted for early afternoon and evening, however there will still be highs of 19 degrees and lows of 12.

And summer really feels like it is long gone now, sunset over the weekend will be at 19:22 and 19:19 respectively, so we can say farewell to those long summer nights.

The weather from the weekend is predicted to carry through to the start of next week, with the Met Office predicting dry weather with temperatures starting at 17 degrees.
