A PERVERT who filmed underneath people’s clothes on the London underground has been sentenced.

Martin Stone recorded images beneath the clothing of 18 different passengers between August 2 and August 4.

Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court heard Stone recorded genitals or buttocks, or underwear covering the genitals or buttocks in circumstances where it would not otherwise be visible.

The 62-year-old committed the crime with the intention that he or a third person would look at the image for the purposes of obtaining sexual gratification, the court was told.

Stone, of Colindeep Gardens, Colindale, admitted recording an image under clothing to observe another without consent.

He was given a 10-week jail sentence, suspended for 12 months.

A sexual harm prevention order was also made, which bans him from possessing any device capable of storing images unless he makes it available on request for inspection by a police officer or designated person including police staff and probation officers until September 2026.

While the order is in force he must also not travel on any London underground, DLR or London Overground train unless having paid for the journey with either an Oyster or Contactless payment card registered in his name.

He was also ordered to pay a total of £213 in victim surcharge and prosecution costs.
