A motorcyclist has died after he came off his bike on the North Circular road.

The Metropolitan Police say the 34-year-old rider was travelling on the Staples Corner flyover in Brent Cross on Wednesday evening (December 1).

Officers along with the London Ambulance Service and the London Air Ambulance responded to an emergency call from the A406 westbound carriageway at 8.18pm.

The Met has confirmed the biker came off his bike and died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed, police added.

Police say enquiries are ongoing and confirmed no arrests have been made in connection with the fatal crash at this time.

Detectives from the serious collision investigation unit are investigating and have said they would like to hear from any witnesses or anybody who has dash cam or CCTV footage of the incident, especially those travelling on the eastbound carriageway.

Anyone who can help, is asked to call police on 101 quoting CAD 6721/01DEC21 or the collision unit's witness line on 0208 246 9820.
