A 16-year-old boy who took his A-levels early has been offered a place at Oxford University.

Tao Lustigman, a student at Friern Barnet School, took his A-levels two years early alongside his GCSEs.

He already had an A* in A level maths from autumn 2020 but he received an A* in further maths and an A in Economics on results day in August.

He was offered a place at Christ Church, Oxford University, to study Philosophy, Politics and Economics.

A Harrow landlord slammed the placement of a cable box that blocked the front of her rental property – despite knowing it was there when she bought the house.

Laxmi Kerai complained the box means cars cannot access the driveway of the three-bedroom house she rents out in Harrow’s Roxeth Green Avenue.

The 37-year-old, who lives nearby, said she was told she would have to take on the costs to have it moved which would be “north of thousands”.

Work was carried out to clean up and repair Enfield parks hit by damage and littering during summer events.

Enfield Council warned work to restore Trent Country Park would take "some time to complete" following "significant damage" to the grounds during the 51st State Festival, which took place on August 7 to 8.

Elrow Town Festival, which had been due to be held in the park on August 21 to 22, was cancelled as a result of the damage from the previous festival.
