An ambulance overturned after crashing into a bus on one of London’s busiest streets.

Commuters on the route 13 bus, heading to North Finchley, were shocked after the ambulance rolled onto its side in a crash last night (January 31) at around 11pm.

The ambulance was reportedly attending a 999 call before it collided with the bus between Marylebone Road and Baker Street.

An internal review has been launched following the incident, the London Ambulance Service has said.

Shocking footage shared on TikTok shows emergency services on top of the toppled ambulance after the incident, as pedestrians crowd around the crash site.

The front windows of the route 13 bus also appeared damaged.

No injuries were reported and no areests were made.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said “Another ambulance was dispatched to the original incident.

“We then sent multiple resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, members of our hazardous area response team (HART) and London’s air ambulance.

“There were no injuries on the bus as a result of the collision. The ambulance crew involved were taken to hospital for further checks.”
