A crash on the M25 caused delays of up to an hour earlier today after three lanes of the motorway were closed.

National Highways said that a collision between Junction 24 (Potters Bar) and J25 (Enfield) had closed three of the four lanes in the clockwise direction between the two junctions.

The delays were first reported by National Highways at 4.17pm. All lanes were reopened by 4.54pm.

However, drivers were warned that residual delays could impact journey times by up to 60 minutes.
