A motorcyclist has died after a crash involving a number of vehicles in Hounslow.

The incident happened in Staines Road at the junction with Martindale Road just before 1pm yesterday (May 12).

Officers, London Ambulance Service crews, and an air ambulance attended and found a motorcyclist injured.

The 60-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

All drivers stopped at the scene.

No arrests have been made following the incident.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Detectives are asking for witnesses and those with dash footage to come forward after a man was killed in a collision in Hounslow.

“Police were called by LAS at 12:56hrs on Sunday, 12 May to Staines Road, junction with Martindale Road, Hounslow, following reports of a collision involving a motorcyclist and a number of vehicles.

“Officers, paramedics and London's Air Ambulance responded.

“Paramedics treated the motorcyclist, aged 60, but despite their extensive efforts he was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Officers have informed next of kin. They are being supported by specially trained officers.

“All drivers stopped at the scene. There have been no arrests.

“Serious Collision Investigation Unit detectives ask anyone who can help with information or dash footage to call 101 or post @MetCC ref CAD 3440/12 May.”
