A West Hendon man has been charged with murder in Hull.

Ronald Kemp, 47, of Woolmead Avenue, in West Hendon estate, was charged with the offence at Hull Magistrates Court yesterday.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Hull Crown Court next Wednesday, September 24.

Mr Kemp is accused of murdering 45-year-old father-of-five John Rouse, who was found shot dead in his Hull flat on the evening of Wednesday, July 30.

Mr Kemp was arrested after officers from Humberside police and armed officers from the Metropolitan Police Service’s firearms unit stormed his West Hendon home on Sunday, August 3.
