Britain's first all-inclusive Jewish school, in East Barnet, is holding a virtual tour for prospective parents.

The public exhibition for the Jewish Community Secondary School (JCoSS) will allow parents and pupils to walk around the atrium, peer into classrooms and view the facilities of the school.

Based on detailed archtitects' designs, the tour will show parents exactly what the £50 million school will be like when it opens in September 2010 and help them decide whether it is the right school for their children.

They will also have the chance to talk to the trustees and governors, as well to meet other parents and see the site where the school will be built.

Commenting on the exhibition, chair of governors Robert Shrager said: “Our philosophy is to create a quality Jewish school offering an excellent education at all levels, which welcomes Jews of all backgrounds, beliefs and abilities.

“We hope very much that our exhibition will attract, in addition to those already within the Jewish education system, others who would not or could not consider any existing Jewish secondary school, but who believe their children could benefit from the excellence which you often get with a faith education.”

The tour will be open from 2.30pm to 5.30pm on Sunday and from 5.30pm to 9.00pm on Monday at East Barnet Upper School, in Westbrook Crescent.
